How it works

  • A solar panel combines with a thermal back sheet and becomes a solar hybrid
     

  • Cold flow from geothermal bore hole/energy storage or the cold side of the heat pump is sent through the thermal back sheet of the solar panel and we now have a Cold Solar Hybrid
     

  • The cold flow cools the Solar Hybrid and at the same time absorbs the excess heat
     

  • The Solar Hybrid works even when the sun is down and then acts as an air/water heat exchanger and thus delivers energy around the clock all the way down to 0 degrees
     

  • In both of the above mentioned cases, the energy collected is returned to the geothermal hole/energy storage which is heated in spring, summer and autumn and can then be used during the winter
